Evaluation Question 5:
How did you attract/address your audience?
When we were choosing our music for our film opening, we were looking for something that; firstly, set the party mood, something upbeat and has a catchy melody, secondly something that our target age group would listen to. Then we found a cover of Decode by a group called Paramore, this song ticked all of our boxes and it was a song that was in Twilight, which was made by Summit Entertainment, which is our institution. I also believe that having this song in our film opening it made our film complete, because it fits in with both the scene and the mood we are trying to recreate.
For the costumes, we decided to make them represent our character's personalities. We chose to do this because we only had two minutes to portray our characters and we want the audience to see as much of our characters as we could possibly show them, as this may want them to see more of the film.

The costumes may have attracted the audience, as each out fit is different, mine, Chantelle's and Abigail's are all from different shops and they all look completely different. This helped us show how different the girls are from each other how ever they are close friends.
Our locations were really simple as we used our bedrooms, this also made our settings easier and we did not have to change our bedrooms as our characters are similar to how our bedrooms already were. By using our bedrooms, it also made our mise-en-sen more believable, as they were our real bedrooms.
We also chose our bedrooms for our locations, because it is a common place for girls to get ready when they are going out for the night.
Here is some of the feed back we got for our final film opening.
As you can see we got some really good and constructive feed back, we would have had more, however, when we uploaded our final product it deleted itself, so we lost our first feed back comments.
I found this feed back helpful as some of the people that commented, they are also taking a media course, so they had a lot of helpful and constructed feed back for us.
