mental problems, thats y their relationship didn't work
he wanted to posses and keep her and didnt waqnt anyone else to have her so when she broke up with him that when he turned really bitter and when over the edge and killed her.

they find out that she has been killed
that when they try to find out the suspect and they get closer to who it was and then the killer decides to kill them as a cover up
cassie gets away and gives her evidence to the police.

we dont know why he likes them but it could be linked to his childhood
he kills megan and then when riley  rings megan he thinks thats his next target
goes through the girls one by one
Cassie gets away - as you go throught the film the girls pick up fragments of how he works
 she tricks him, gets free and goes to the police
