The production company that we have decided to use for our film is called Summit Entertainment. We chose Summit Entertainment because, it relates to our genre that we are basing our film on, which is Thriller.

Summit Entertainment is an American film studio. Since 2006 Summit Entertainment has become an individual production company after working with Lions Gate and Universal.

Summit was originally founded in 1991, by film producers Bernd Eichinger, Arnon Milched and Andrew G.Vajna, initially to deal with film sales in foreign countries.

Summit expanded, so they started producing and co-financing film in 1995, and then they started fully financing films by 1997.

Summit was officially launched in 1993 by Patrick Wachsberger, Bob Hayward and David Garrett, under the name Summit Entertainment LP as a production, distribution, and sales organisation.

In 2006 Summit became a fully independent film studio, now known as Summit Entertainment, Rob Friedman; who was a former executive at Paramount Picture also joined Summit.
